President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Engr. Julius Oloro as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM), Ilorin.

Engr. Oloro, a former Council Chairman, succeeds the late Engr. Dr. A. R. Kamal, who passed away in January, 2026.

The Centre congratulate Engr. Julius Oloro on this appointment and warmly welcome him to the Centre of Excellence.

The Centre also pays glowing tribute to the late Engr. Dr. A. R. Kamal for his remarkable contributions and dedicated service, which significantly advanced the growth and development of NCAM.

Furthermore, the Management and Staff sincerely appreciate Engr. Dr. Ademiluyi Yinka Segun for his exemplary leadership, dedication, and commitment while serving as Acting Executive Director following the demise of the late Executive Director. His stewardship ensured stability and continuity in the administration and operations of the Centre during the transition period.

NCAM remains committed to its mandate of developing and promoting appropriate agricultural mechanization technologies to enhance agricultural productivity and strengthen food security in Nigeria.
